Folk Dancers

 My whole childhood was entwined with dance; mom always made us dance in our free time...I always had this passion till I turned 18 and took ballet classes for the first time. And then I switched to Classical Persian dance. 

Anoheh always seeks new combinations and ideas in the field of modern art and fusion performances. Her goal is to train a new generation of dance enthusiasts who can show the beauty of original Iranian dances through international performances. 

Beshkan Dance Academy was established in 2003 in Northern California by Razieh Oghabian and Sharareh Ghahremani. Over the years they have collaborated and researched many of the Iranian dance genres to grow and enhance their academy.

One of the most important things in my choreographies is the use of Persian music and choosing the right music for my pieces, it’s something that I’m meticulous about and also teach it to my students as well.
