Urban Dancers

It was my passion that got me interested in dance. I used to copy the dance routine of the movie series "Step Up”, as well as, different music videos. When I grew older I started practicing and learning from professional dancers on instagram and youtube. 

There’s a saying that says: “An artist doesn’t repeat what’s seen but gives life to what is not seen.” I try to liberate myself from the prisons of this material world and be true to myself. I dance wherever and whenever I can, and most of my performances are on the streets.

My main focus now are hip hop and contemporary. I’m not afraid of challenging myself and my goal in my choreography is to get creative and create something unique

I've been dancing hip hop since I was 10. I found my own style by improvising and learning dance combos by other choreographers. My genre and improvisation style is Urban & Hiphop.

Dance is the best way I can express my feelings. Whether I'm sad, happy, excited or nervous. I believe dancing is the best way to change one’s mood and it makes the music to come to life too. 
It’s just your mind, music and your body.

I've performed on "Asre Jadid" twice. And my goal in dance is to break the traditional taboos in Iran and familiarise people with the art of dance.

The first style I learned was tutting and I won several tutting battles. After covid I signed up for an online tutting battle called GS Online and I got to the finals. Then I started learning other styles like popping and hip hop. Dance is divine, and the more I learn the more I get amused by it.

Kowsar is a self-taught dancer and she started shuffling 5 years ago. She learned from videos of professional dancers and as she got more comfortable with the movements she added her own unique style to it.

After a long time of experience in dance I would define my career as a Soloist; I have my own show called “Persian Hair“. I combine my strength, femininity and hair to depict a strong Persian Woman.

My training has been focused on Afro-Fusion, hip hop, commercial and heels. I express my feelings through dance and it has become a part of my daily life.
